Brittany’s originated from the same named French providence in the 17th and 18th century. They were bred to hunt, retrieve and point.
APPEARANCE(S)
Brittany’s are medium sized dogs with fold over ears and docked tails. The nose of the Brittany is never black.
COLOR(S)
This breed can be orange and white or liver and white.

The coats are short and wavy.PERSONALITY

This breed is very smart and loves to play. The Brittany is very loving and loyal to the family. They are good with children and other dogs. The Brittany needs a family that is active and as high energy as they are.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
This breed needs a lot of exercise and attention. Some male Brittany’s are known to be aggressive with other male dogs. The Brittany will become an excessive barker and develop destructive behavior is they are not given enough attention.*This is not a good breed for the first time dog owner.
