The Bernese Mountain Dog was bred to be a farm dog. This breed is a descendent of the Roman Mastiffs that were bred to fight for the Romans.

APPEARANCE(S)

Bernese Mountain Dogs are large powerful dogs. They have large block heads and drop ears. The tails are long and bushy.

COLOR(S)


The Bernese Mountain Dog is usually black with orange and white markings.

COAT


This breed has a long soft silky coat.
