The Australian Kelpies were bred from the Scottish Collie in order to guard and herd sheep.

APPEARANCE(S)

Australian Kelpies have a medium build and thick stocky bodies. The ears are large triangles and erect on top of the head. The tail is long and bushy.

COLOR(S)

The Australian Kelpie is usually black with tan markings. They can also be red, blue or brown.
