The Burmilla cats are attributed to be a result of accidental breeding between a chinchilla Persian and a lilac Burmese in 1981.APPEARANCE(S)
Much like the Burmese, the Burmilla are medium-sized cats with compact muscular bodies and round faces with short muzzles. There should be a distinctive M mark on the forehead.COLOR(S)
Burmese come in a variety of colors including brown, sable, blue, chocolate, champagne, lilac, platinum, red, and cream. There are tortoiseshell variations of these colors as well.
COAT
The coat is soft, short, close-lying, light in color with tips that have a contrasting color.
