The Burmese are thought to be descendants of sacred brown cats of Burma.APPEARANCE(S)
Burmese are stocky medium sized cat with good muscular development. The head of a Burmese cat is typically rounded with a short muzzle and wide-set eyes. They have short legs, and rounded feet.COLOR(S)
Burmese come in a variety of colors including brown, sable, blue, chocolate, champagne, lilac, platinum, red, and cream. There are tortoiseshell variations of these colors as well.
COAT
The coat is known for being glossy, with a satin-like finish
PERSONALITY
Burmese are vocal like the Siamese but have softer, sweeter meows. They are people oriented, forming strong bonds with their owners, gravitating toward all human activity. Burmese are not shy. In fact, this is an “in your face” cat that wants to be fully engaged in what is going on.GROOMING

These cats have been know to be talkative and very verbal with their “meowing.” Burmese have deep, rumbling voices and are not shy about speaking up.BREED RELATED HEALTH CONCERNS
